2008 Chicagoland AYF Ages & Weights
As a NFL youth partner AYF Nationally has comprehensive weight and age rules for teams to ensure safety and level play. At AYF mandatory certification player ID cards are checked along with birth certificates and all required paperwork to varify eligibility. The league then requires weigh ins before the season and at each and every game. All of this while cumbersome goes a long way to create a more safe and competitive situation. We place the players onto teams based on these rules with no other considerations.

Stripers must play between the tackle (offense or defense.) No more than 2 stripers on the field of play at one time. At no time may a striper advance the football. Stripers are unable to participate at Nationals, unless they make standard weight.
